I agree wholeheartedly about how n...EXCELLENT post! I agree wholeheartedly about how nail technicians are regarded in news media and television. We are always frumpy girls who seem to be nice and full of advice, but not someone to look up to or aspire to be. I have to say that in my profession, I am HAPPY and have PASSION for what I do. I have instant gratification in my work because I make someone feel great every 30-60 minutes. People come to me to be relaxed and feel better. It's so simple and I make great money. My department is the most in demand at my salon. We are never sitting around in the back room. Actually, I think being a nail tech is a hidden gem when it comes to professions.
